rOOF LANTERN
Getting the correct size for your Skypod lantern roof is simple, and we're here to guide you every step of the way. You'll need to measure the external dimensions of the upstand—this is the raised frame where your Skypod will sit.

  1. Locate the Upstand: Ensure your flat roof has a secure, weatherproof upstand in place. This should be at least 150mm above the finished roof level and a minimum width of 75mm.
  2. Measure the External Dimensions: Use a tape measure to determine the width and length of the upstand's outer edges. For accuracy, check that the upstand corners are square by measuring diagonally across the frame. The two diagonal measurements should be equal.
  3. Account for Tolerances: Skypod systems allow for a 10mm tolerance per side, so make sure your measurements are consistent with the intended product dimensions.
